Hart Voices

Hart Voices is delighted to present Grammy Award-winning composer and conductor, Eric Whitacre's "The Sacred Veil" this November at All Saints Church, Fleet.

This very special performance by Hart Voices explores an intimate and compelling score for Choir, Piano & Cello, which tells a story of courtship, love, loss, and the search for solace.

“The Sacred Veil” is a stunning choral work by Eric Whitacre, who is considered something of a modern superstar of choral music. Set in 12 movements, the work presents a profound meditation on love, life and loss, with solo cello supplying some achingly beautiful melodies, soaring above the choral voices. This work is a true expression of love and life, and is genuinely one of the most reflective and exquisite pieces of music you will have heard for a long time.

It has not been widely performed in the UK to date so this is a unique opportunity to hear something quite special!

This concert is dedicated to Hans Rashbrook, much-loved brother of Roy and friend of Hart Voices, who died suddenly in July 2024.
