Hart Voices presents Haydn's St Nicholas Mass this Spring at All Saints Church, Fleet.

Hart Voices is delighted to welcome you to our Spring Concert as we perform Haydn's St Nicholas Mass at All Saints Church, Fleet on Saturday 29 March 2025 at 7.30pm. 

 

Conducted by Roy Rashbrook, Musical Director of Hart Voices (and member of St Paul's Cathedral Choir), we will be joined by an array of professional musicians to present one of Haydn's earlier and more energetic choral works! This mass was written for the name-day of Haydn's employer, Prince Nicolaus Esterhazy, celebrating the Feast of St Nicholas on 6 December 1772, and is a vibrant setting of the Mass, quintessentially Haydn in its tunefulness and infectious joy!

Presented alongside the Haydn, we will also perform two of Bach's most popular choral motets, "Lobet den Herrn" and "Komm, Jesu, Komm", as well as a beautiful setting of Ave Maria by Franz Biebl.
